Thanks, I Needed That

I've just come off of some much needed R & R.

My sister's birthday was just the reason I needed to get down home and visit my family. We shared a nice day at the park.

Happy Birthday Tina

AJ tooks some pictures for me to paint. I love this one.

Be looking for it in my new design work.

We have a very special friend who loves to garden. I enjoyed his peppers!
This one's for you, Farmer Bill.

VISTA LIGHTS

For my subscribers who are local: Don't forget about Vista Lights this coming Thursday, November 15, 5-9 in the Vista. My work will be in two locations this year. I will be at Nonnah's on Gervais Street in my usual spot, and I will also have work in the Vista Studios / 80808 Gallery Fall Exhbition. Please stop by and see me.

This is one of the first paintings I have done from the loads of beautiful views at Huntington Island State Park / Atalaya Castle. I can't wait to get to the others. It is a beautiful place.

The Show's Over

But it sure was fun while it lasted.
This is my host. She was kind and generous to do this for me.

The food was delicious.

She had a lot of room for me to display my work.

There was art and food everywhere.
It was a complete success. Together we moved 13 pieces of art.
Sounds like a lucky number to me.

Here's a painting I did a while back but have not posted. I am doing inventories, handouts, and packing for all the upcoming Fall Shows. That keeps me from painting for a few days. This image is from a place I paint often: Station 26 in the Back on Sullivan's Island. One of my favorite places in the world. Will let you know how the shows go. I have a private reception this weekend, then Vista Lights November 15. I will be showing in two places during that gallery crawl: Nonnah's and Vista Studios.
